Tijuana Knife Fight-Saturday Night Apocalypse LP (Includes CD version inside!) $8
Local dudes who seem to knock out the electricity everytime they play. I say that they litterally make the power go out. I dunno if its the wattage of their amps or the fact that they sound like a cross between The Bronx and Hot Snakes but they should carry a generator if they are gonna keep up the rock.
BLOTTO - "Get On Bored" LP $8
Life would be better if you were followed around by a life-sized foam mascot in the shape of a beer bottle that would come to your rescue every time you were about to make a bad decision and would reward you with a drink every time you made a good choice. Foamie would stop you from doing stupid shit like buying, say, a Mayday Parade record, and he’d jump with joy when you picked up Blotto—perhaps Japan’s best export since the microprocessor. We give them D4; the Land of the Rising Sun returns the favor. Diplomacy! Thanks Foamie! 20 songs total, only 500 pressed.
TILTWHEEL / DAN PADILLA / THE TIM VERSION / HIDDEN SPOTS 4-way split 7" $4
Tiltwheel is 2/3rds Dan Padilla. The Hidden Spots is some ratio of The Jack Palance Band, sand, and awesome. Dan Padilla was named after a bank robber. The Tim Version is named not only after a Replacement’s album, but a specific (and preferred) version of Tim. It’s a four-way battle royale and no one’s getting thrown out of the ring. If you’re a person who can hear burritos whisper, the burrito’s pretty much telling you this kills.
THE TIM VERSION - "Still Have The Nerve To Call Ourselves A Band" CD $10
A collection of out-of-print, hard-to-find, half-of-splits, and hey-we-haven’t-used-that-yets. If you’re already a fan of The Tim Version, it saves you any chance of exercise by switching from the record player to CD; you know what you’re in for. If you’re new to ‘em, imagine watching America’s formation and demise, as sung by a drunk, yet hopeful, rocket scientist and backed by a guy who really doesn’t like to be yelled “Alex Van Fucking Halen” at when he drums. Well, at least repeatedly. 28 tracks.
Vena Cava-Weapons of Mass Communication CD $8
San Diego three piece Vena Cava have finally returned with 5 new songs. Great recording, awesome artwork, and even more awesome mustache.

EXCERP FROM ROCKSTAR RECORDS:Two wrongs make one right again! Splits are all the rage this summer! So, what happened? San Pedro, CA: In 2006 Mr. Todd Congelliere, founder and first chairman of Recess Records and mastermind of supercatchy teenage punk- rock machines FYP and TOYS THAT KILL found himself not working at full capacity. So he gathered round some friends and former band- mates for a new project. THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD TO CANDYLAND was born and Punk Rock pitchforked to the next level! Örebro, SWE: In 1995 the man with the most creative arm-tattoos, Sir Janne Elfsten, raises later globalplayer Hard-On Records, to have a fitting label for his retard rockband, for the one and only, for the horrible PRICKS!For over 10 years now the two singer‘s ways crossed on shows and compilations, in holidays and in mind until now the unescapable became terrific reality. on 10 inches of true entertainment! While THE PRICKS do the only thing they ever understood, namely playing superwicked 80‘s Westcoast trashpunk exceeding the limit at every point, THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD TO CANDYLAND created songs (by the way recorded by Brian „Hammy“ Hamilton of the unbelievable FLESHIES) that you can listen to on and on and you fall in love deeper with every sound! You have to dance, and dance hard. It is pure in the most basic definitions of that word - clear and true, absolute, utter, sheer, ceremonially, or ritually clean - They make you glad to be alive (as MaximumRock‘n‘Roll pictured it)…

OFF WITH THEIR HEADS-From The Bottom LP $8 Marbled Vinyl

In a world where everything is falling apart, it’s nice to know someone is worse off than yourself. Ha ha, okay, so I kid. But this guy Ryan must be driving himself crazy, what with all the dire hopelessness and impossibility wrapped up in his lyrics. One can only hope that this is his way of dealing with all the crap humanity sends his way. Or is he a magnet for misfortune? Combine this direct, desperate outlook with upbeat, forward- moving punk rock, and what do you have? A strangely uplifting, energetic rallying cry that - far from bogging down the listener- inspires one to get up off their ass and do something. When I need a pick me up, this is it. When I need to knuckle down & get ‘er done, this is it. For you, maybe you need to kick a bad habit: this may not be for you. Or maybe… it’s just what you need. (Oh yeah, and I’m pretty sure Ryan is actually crazy. At least, that’s what he told me.) –Var. From No Idea website

Yeah, another QUEERS reissue! While THE QUEERS explore whole new areas of pop harmonies that were only hinted at on previous records (there's even a 60s style Farfisa organ on "Janelle, Janelle" and "Punk Rock Girls"), they definitely haven't said goodbye to their own style of bare bones, in your face punk rock, as evidenced by such cute little ditties as "I'm Okay, You're Fucked" and "Brush Your Teeth". They sleep all day, never change their clothes, and play some of the most ferociously catchy punk rock in the world, but that doesn't mean they'll kick in for rent. This album tells a moronic tale of some rejects from New England, their failed love lives, their eating habits, their petty gripes, and their dumb pals. Hey, they're singing your life with their words!

TOYS THAT KILL-"O aka Razorcake" 7" $4.50 OUT OF PRINT
Razorcake magazine is doing a 7" record set series. It sounds confusing so i will clarify: They are doing, instead of the traditional split 7", two 7"s by two bands and selling them as sets. You can also get just the individual 7" by one of the bands also. Ok i dont care if your still confused. This is a Toys That Kill 7". Numbered and collectable. 4 unreleased songs. One of em being a Tiltwheel cover, whom are the partners of said set. You need to listen more, instead of just waiting to talk!
