Nothing says an Artist is unhappy with their contract like a pressing plant holdout. This summer's missing campers? Vacation's Jerri, Evan, Dylan and that classy shit, John Hoffman.

Being involved in two lengthy holdouts during my agent days with Pud and Aerosmith gives me some insight into these types of contract disputes. Smith's 38-day holdout in 2002 ended with them getting a new contract from Columbia at the end of the tour. Vacations's dispute with Mystic Records in 2014 lasted 82 days before they were dealt to the Recess right before the trading deadline.
