Recess and Sardine Newslitter 3/2020

Help our awesome Sardine employees. While were all under lockdown, when you buy any of the LP,7",CD,or Tape bundles (or “Lots”) at the recessrecords.com store all the profits from that go to our employees over at The Sardine that are currently outta jobs. These bundles are popular cos you get mystery audio physicals. Whats wrong with that?!

**Of course, anything else purchased from Recess is super appreciated in these tough times! Since lock down, mailorder has been much faster.**

If you are bored, like most, check out Recess Records Instagram

We have been going live alot, and even ressurected Podycast last night! Join Me, Hal and Tito for live action!

You can also check out Nos Da album!

Also, if you purchased a ticket to any of the shows at Recess Ops/The Sardine and would like a refund, then go to eventbrite (unless you bought em at The Sardine) and request a refund. People have been kind enough to not ask for a refund to help us out during this tuff time. It's up to you. It's massively appreciated either way. Just make sure to request refund,if needed, before event please.

Go to [Sardinepedro.com](http://Sardinepedro.com) to see whats postponed, cancelled, or still active. Obviously, we dont know when this will all end,so if something says it's not postponed or cancelled then it doesnt mean it'll still happen. I'm sure we will all know at the same time. Take care of yourselves!

Much love and respect to yall!

i just wanna bring in a poem..

Get Drunk!

Charles Baudelaire

Always be drunk.

That's it!

The great imperative!

In order not to feel

Time's horrid fardel

bruise your shoulders,

grinding you into the earth,

Get drunk and stay that way.

On what?

On wine, poetry, virtue, whatever.

But get drunk.

And if you sometimes happen to wake up

on the porches of a palace,

in the green grass of a ditch,

in the dismal loneliness of your own room,

your drunkenness gone or disappearing,

ask the wind,

the wave,

the star,

the bird,

the clock,

ask everything that flees,

everything that groans

or rolls

or sings,

everything that speaks,

ask what time it is;

and the wind,

the wave,
